A doctors consult is required on your first visit and signing of consent. This will be done together where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions and confirm any medical relevant information to your treatment. ADVERSE AFFECTS
neurotoxin
Though uncommon there are side affects to neurotoxin (the medication that stops you being able to move the muscle) : headache, redness, swelling and bruising to the injection site. These are temporary and usually limited to the site of the injection.
Rare Side Effects are ptosis - drooping of the eyelid, muscle weakness, nausea, anaphylaxis. Rest assured as as a critical care nurse Ursula is fully trained in managing this type of reaction and has the necessary mediation on hand.
